Gilles et Roger nous fait visiter le musée Armand Frappier, le Microbe zoo, une micro brasserie, puis nous finirons par une dégustation de saveurs de thé canadien au salon Tessier dit Lavigne.

With Gilles and Roger we visit the Armand Frappier museum, a "zoo" about germs: bacteria and viruses. Then it's on to a micro-brasserie, which makes delicious beer of all sorts, before ending our Laval stay at the tea salon, Tissier dit Lavigne, where we had a tasting of not only their many teas, but also scones and their famous "trouffes".

The polio virus was to be interred in 2004, but there are still 4 countries infected. Rotary International is responsable for beginning the war on polio in 1985 (Polio Plus) and with the help of Rotary Clubs all over the world, as well as Bill and Melinda Gates who donated 100 million dollars to this project, polio will hopefully be eradicated within three years.

On avait espéré que le virus de polio serait enterré en 2004, mais il existe encore dans quatre pays. Rotary International est responsable pour la guerre contre ce menace et avec l’aide des Clubs Rotary du monde, ainsi que Bill et Melinda Gates qui a donné 100 million de dollars pour ce défie, l’espoir est d’éradiquer ce virus d’ici trois ans.
