Journées professionnelles de Edwina, Marie et Fabien

Lundi 6 octobre (matin) - Ottawa :

Marie a eu l'occassion de visiter la mairie d'Ottawa et de rencontrer les amenageurs et urbanistes de la ville d'Ottawa. Pendant ce temps, Win et Fabien se sont rendus a "Ottawa River Keeper", pour decouvrir les enjeux de la rivière des Outaouais.

Marie visited Ottawa City Hall and met with the planners and urbanists of Ottawa. At the same time, Win and Fabien were welcomed by the association “Ottawa River Keeper” to learn about the relationship of the Ottawa River to industries, businesses and homes along its course.

Jeudi 9 octobre (toute la journee) :

John avait organisé une journée touristique pour Marie, avec la visite d'un centre de loisirs, d'une ferme cueillette de Fraises, d'une base de canoë kayak et pour finir une rencontre avec l'agent de développement touristique et l'agent de développement économique de la région de Renfrew.

John organized the day for Marie, with a visit to a recreational center, a “U-pick” strawberry farm, a canoe/kayak rental location and a meeting with the tourist and economic development directors of the Renfrew region.

Fabien a pu rencontrer le chargé de développement économique du county of Renfrew : Alastaire Baird. Ce temps a permis de faire un point sur les différentes stratégies de économiques (tourisme, agriculture, foresterie et industrie). L'après midi, Fabien a rencontré le directeur du développement et de l'aménagement de la commune de Deep River.

Fabien met with the economic development director of the County of Renfrew, Alistair Baird.
